Purchased these to further extend my Rizoma stealth mirrors but unfortunately, they are supplied with incompatible bolts. The thread pitch is different for the Rizoma mirror bolts compared to that of the thread on the extensions. I will have to purchase additional fasteners to make these work but that's not a fault of the item.

The website said that they fit the R1250RS but they don't. I wasted a fair bit of time trying to figure it out. I'm sure they'd be fine for bar-mounted mirrors. So my star rating isn't really for the extenders but it is for website.

These are an absolute game changer. I bought these and added the recommended risers. It is amazing the difference having the mirrors 2 inches higher and 2 inches further out makes. Also, these are rock solid and top quality and easy to fit. Highly recommended.

Firstly the instructions are not accurate and I was unable to fit the extenders by following the instructions. I eventually worked out that the extender will fit into the OEM bolts you remove from the mirror storks but the instructions don’t tell you to do this. Secondly, the extenders are not gloss black as depicted in the photo on NN website. They are Matt black. Despite this, they have made a significant difference in what I can now see behind me. In this respect they work very well and IMHO BMW should have spotted the poor ergonomics of the OEM’s. I have given this product 3 stars for poor instructions, pictures not accurately reflecting the product and price. (Over priced)

I couldn't see much in the mirrors, and I put that down to me being 6'5''. But after fixing these onto the 'bike, I can see everything! It's not a subtle difference, it's a huge difference. The price is a bit salty, but the quality is there, and the results soon made me forget about the price! Excellent.

I bought these after riding my bike for a week as my view in the mirrors was mainly of my forearms and shoulders. The extenders were easy to install and have been very effective. I now have a very good rear view, they are fine up to legal limits but get a bit blurry after this but this is no different to how they were previously. Although they are relatively expensive I would thoroughly recommend them.

Once fitted, the mirrors were pointing backwards and I could not release them. Eventually was advised that the locking nut has a lefthand thread. The extenders felt more like a cintered product rather than milled steel and were not shiny as shown in the picture.

the curve in these is not required for the S1000XR and offers no real advantage over straight alternative brands. Can still operate cruise control and hand warmer switch though access is a little restricted.

These little mirror extenders are an excellent addition. They have expanded peripheral vision when riding to allow for a much better view. As they are a matt black metal, they are pretty robust but do not look like an obvious extender - they blend in to the bike really well!

As a taller rider, I find the standard mirrors fitted to the RT are a little low and give an excellent view of my hands.
I already had the GS style mirrors, and needed to move them out a little bit to stop my shoulders getting in the way.
These brackets take a few minutes to fit, and are solid, as far as possible, they stop vibration, and could be factory fit.
