Wunderlich rear mudguard R18/R1800 aluminium untreated

Old School: Rear wheel fender made by hand with a lot of experience on the English Wheel, formed from aluminium, with fine, circumferential flange and one-sided beading. In addition to the classic appearance, the flanging and bead also offer high component stability with low weight. Solid 2 mm component thickness do the rest. The sheet length is 800 mm and the width is 185 mm. The fender is therefore a striking eye-catcher at the rear and offers the best conditions for a purist, clean rear.

The characteristic rear bracket for the rear wheel fender is made of stable, high-quality precision tubular steel with a diameter of 16 mm and is powder-coated in black. It is attached to the side of the swing arm. The front attachment of the rear fender is made at the original attachment points of the deviating inner fender (4-point attachment).

Minimalist turn signal holders, made of stainless steel and powder-coated black, are unobtrusively attached to the rear attachment of the fender on the left and right. We recommend using the miniaturized Atto DF LED 3 in 1 rear lights (item no. WUN-36348-002), which meet the legal requirements and function as indicator, rear and brake lights. The cabling is routed hidden in the rear pipe holder of the rear fender.

Since the original license plate holder is not required when installing the rear fender, we recommend using our lateral license plate holder (part number WUN-18500-002). The rear fender comes with a cable set with integrated electronics that was specially made for the R 18. This connects the license plate light and the 3-in-1 indicator, rear and brake light combination to the vehicle via plug and play.

The rear wheel fender and the bracket are each dimensioned in such a way that they fit perfectly with the standard tires.

For a harmonious individualisation, we also recommend always mounting the rear fender in conjunction with our matching front fender (part number 18090-00x).
