One of the fascinating highlights of the BMW R18 series is the open rotating shaft of the cardan drive. It is even more fascinating to perfectly stage the nickel-plated shaft in the twilight and in the dark. Illuminated with LED white light, the nickel surface and the rear universal joint come into their own and provide an unexpected wow effect!
With the included pre-assembled Quick Connect cable set, the lighting is plugged in with plugs and plugs to the original BMW connections of the DIN socket on the connection side and is thus smartly integrated into the power supply of the on-board network. In this way, the slot and thus the function of the socket are retained for other consumers.
The button integrated in the wiring harness is discreetly mounted in front of the right-hand side cover using a vehicle-specific holder. This makes it easily accessible for the driver. The lighting itself is installed inconspicuously above the gimbal.
Note: The lighting may not be used within the scope of the StVO.
