Following the positive reviews, decided to try this out. The OE lever, caused me to continuously adjust my foot position from up shifting to down shifting. This lever allowed a good range of adjustment and problem solved. It allows me to keep a fixed foot position, giving a accurate and precise gear change, up or down. Excellent improvement.
One cautionary note on the 1250 GS, the lever is only adjustable for 50% of its full travel as it will foul the side stand if fully extended.
Excellent service from NN, as always.

I have huge great plates of meat to rival Sasquatch and extended gear lever was only hope . It’s superbly engineered far outstrips the original and does what it says on the tin . Gear changes are smoother and my foot fits perfectly

Fitting was easy enough but while adjusting the extending part a screw snapped. So completely lost trust in it before I even started. The pictures are also different to what I received. I’m going to replace all the screws with good quality ones and see what happens.

Superb addition to the BMW 1250GS. This adjustable lever allows you to get the perfect position for the gear change. It is really well made and looks better than the standard BMW fitment also. The adjustment scope allows you to fine tune the exact position where the lever contacts your foot, which I found invaluable when I started using my winter enduro boots. The foot part of the lever spins on a bearing which makes changing gear so much better and more precise. Easy to fit and adjust and highly recommended.

The original factory gear change on my 2015 GS was always stiff and clunky, occasionally causing me to miss gears. The conversion to this Wunderlich item has completely transformed my riding experience. I tried adjusting the original item, all to no avail. I cannot recommend this enough!

Bought this as the original BMW gear lever wasn't long enough as the gear change tip misses the pad on my Daytona boots. Fitting this & adjusting it for length & reach, gear changing is now smoother too. Pricey for what it is so it only gets four stars, but, it's from Wunderlich after all and it's very well made & finish is excellent.
I'm really pleased with it.

Good quality feel and improves the gear change to be more positive on selection.
Straight forward fit and the increased adjustability perfect.
One thing I was not keen on was the free running rubber toe end but this is easily cured by adding a small O ring and (my) problem solved.

This item is tough & robust with the off road thrashing it gets, i wish you could buy spares though as the toe changer snapped when the bike was dropped once. 100% better than a stabdard shift

Original lever was too long for my foot, this is perfect for me at its minimum length. The shift peg is a roller mechanism which makes changing gear slightly easier, and it also folds to minimise damage in a fall. Excellent item. Easy to fit.

After replacing the stock foot pegs with "Pivot-Pegz", the OEM gear lever was too close to the footpeg to allow efficient shifting. I replaced the stock shifter with this "Wunderlich" shifter and no more problems. I did need to trim 5 millimetres from each end of the adjustment rod, but this was easily done with a small hacksaw and file.

Feels and looks well designed. Shift changes feel very slick and takes some getting used to.
