I have used optimate charges before and already have 2 units. This one is specific to my bike and battery. This was the best price i could find and very pleased with the product and the company. They sell some good equipment and have used them again since this order. Very happy

An excellent maintenance charger that’s easy to set up and use. Designed for use with BMW bikes and includes a setting for the new R1300GS lithium batteries too.
Comes with all cables required so you can plug straight into bike accessory socket rather than having to wire directly to battery.
Highly recommended.

I had alwsys been a bit sceptical about the need to use a dedicated charger .
However with the size of the 1200 and the additional equipment fitted the ultimate has been a godsend when the bike isnt used for extended periods. Great delivery service by NN as usual.

Brilliant piece of kit, plug in set the charger to match your charging needs and away you go, literally a plug in and play solution to an age old problem of how to keep our batteries in tip top solution, great for the bike and also used it to fully charge a new leisure battery, can't recommend it enough and great price

I recently purchased a new GS which came with a lithium battery and thus the old optimate was no longer compatible. Due to the canbus system on the bike the lithium battery charger I already had (for my multistrada) wasn’t recognised by the bike (even when connected directly), so it was easier to replace it with this new version which covers both bikes. It works brilliantly and keeps both batteries ready for use. At a great price too.
