If Mary Poppins rode a GS, and I'm told she does, then this Touratech Tool Box would be her essential purchase.
Outside of an Airman Pump, puncture repair kit and a couple of collapsable funnels, the amount of stuff you can hide in here is incredible.
In mine I've crammed, my ability to stop myself from spending money on stuff for my bike that I really dont need, my guilt for spending said money on my bike rather than on my understanding wife and children, an unhealthy hatred of Toyota Prius' and of course my terrible sense of humour.
What isnt funny though is how good this tool box is. It's really good. A bit like a Crystal Maze challenge to fit, but after shouting at some strangers through the window I managed it.
I would have rather gone for the Wunderlich tool box but I was put off by the warning of having to remove the arch liner and my tiny brain couldnt cope thinking it through whilst I was in my element of manic, online, impulse purchasing.
I even got a post card from Norman on his holiday in the Maldives this year, partly funded by my purchases alone! Good on him!
Strongly recommend the box for holding on to tools and or bottled up feelings.
I also recommend the resort Norman stayed at in the Maldives, the photos look brilliant.
If I can stop wasting money on motorbikes and cars, perhaps I can go there next year. On my own mind, I dont want the wife and kids to spoil my me time.

A nice decent quality box. A little fiddly to fit but not bad. Not an enormous amount of space in there but enough to fit a decent puncture repair kit and pump. Means you don’t have to have it all rattling round your top box taking up helmet storage space.

Usual Touratech quality, and super quick delivery from UK by NN, Thankyou.
Although it was easy to fit, there are lots of different size screws and different fitting placements depending on which side you fix the box. A simple instruction sheet would have cut the fitting time down from 1 hr ( most of that time working out which fixings went where.) To about 20 mins.

Rather fiddly to fit, especially if you have big hands, because you need to get a hand right inside the box to hold fitting nuts in place. Not had a chance to use it in action yet, owing to lockdown.

Very impressed with the tool box, useful size. Got the tyre compressor, puncher kit and a few tools out of the top box.
Only disappointment was the lock, they must have struggled to find such a cheap lock.

Ordered the touratech tool box arrived quickly tracked worked well and delivery was as requested tool box itself was well made as expected from touratech (all through a bit pricey) fitted well and has freed up space under the seat and top box.

Although pricey it's good quality and despite the other reviews about fitting I easily managed it alone in about 15 minutes. Once fitted it looks good and is sturdy, the only niggle being that the plastic cover for the key slot is quite flimsy and I can imagine dirt and water going in.
I managed to fit in a small tool kit, a puncture repair kit, a small electric tyre pump, a small manual tyre pump, some assorted items like rags, tie wraps, and so on. Quite impressed with the space inside if some care is taken whilst packing it.

Quick delivery as always from NN It took a while to work out how to download the instructions, and these were not very clear. My father (aged 88 ) helped me fix it to the bike, we both found this very frustrating having to keep changing the bolts around. It took us about 2 hours 30 mins to do and really looks part of the bike. Expensive but well worth it. Buy the bag to go inside as well

Touratech toolbox seems well made but note that the stainless steel panels are embellishments to what is a plastic case. All bolts and brackets are stainless steel. I have successfully fitted the tool box to my KTM 1190 as I have no panniers (the box would not fit with panniers as per BMW GS). I think it looks excellent and balances the silencer on the other side of the bike.

Toolbox is well made and solid. Space is tight but enough room for my small toolkit consisting of a puncture repair kit and a few other bits and bobs, spanners etc and a small first aid kit stuffed in. Seals up well and locks with a cover to keep the lock clean. Very neat fitted in behind the Lanier and enough room too access next to the number plate. Very sturdy when fitted. Great little buy.

Easy fit with help of wife holding the small clasp clamps. Had to change a few of the bolts for slightly longer ones. Box comes with a kit to fit both new and old GSA's so take your time and follow the instructions or you may end up putting the wrong bracket in the front and have to change it over🙁 So far after a 2000 mile tour of Spain it hasn't fell off or let in. Tip cover with a coat of WD 40 or similar.

Ok I took a flyer with this. I had seen them on BMW rails and have a. GSEMOTION Toolbok on my 2013 gsa. I have Givi outback trekker rails which are wider between the vertical sides hover I did get the toolbox to fit using most of the original hardware plus a 20mm spacer at th front mount & making up a plate to go between the toolbox & the mounting bracket on the pannier rail. Usual Touratech quality & probably mot delivery from Nippy :)

I researched a lot of tool boxes for my bike before buying. Few - if any - claim to be waterproof. This one though, does appear to be just that. So I think it was worth every penny.

The toolbox is great and fits a full comprehensive toolkit along with tyre repair and pump. Only downside is they recommend you remove the tyre hugger as this could hit the box when off road. However, I have noticed several bikes have not removed the hugger and wonder is it really a problem as suggested by Touratech

Pros:
- Quality construction
- Matches up the exhaust to balance the look from the rear.
- Fits my tools, spare oil (small bottle), Air Compressor, a pair of HiViz emergency vests and Puncture repair kit a treat
Cons (Niggles rather than issues) :
- Holes in both sides of the polished casing meaning the unused side had bolts to fill the holes so causing snagging points inside the case.
- the mounting brackets I received were meant to be interlocking to tie around the case frame securely. One set of mine were of the same side so wouldn't interlock. I could have returned them and I'm sure NN would have sorted the issue but I was half way through the install and impatient so a hacksaw took out the duplicate lug on the bracket and all was well with the world.
Overall - Highly recommended

I bought this Touratech toolbox for practical reasons not cosmetic but it has actually improved the look of the bike as well. A quality made piece of kit with design that makes it look original equipment on the GS. Nice piece of work. Came without instructions but if you work it out (the short screws and dome nuts are used to block off unused mounting holes) then everything can only really go in one place.

A good quality box but expensive. When fitted it looks great and holds a pump, puncture kit and other bits and bobs. The only downside is that it's fiddly to install and really needs two pairs of hands at times.
Have yet to determine if waterproof.

A great box, I can fir a full toolroll along with compressor and tubeless repair kit. looks pretty weather proof but will need to test the waterproof situation, disappointed I have to remove the rear wheel guard as per instructions, although worth it, as I can carry all emergency stuff on short rides without fitting the panniers

As stated previously, a bit fiddly to fit single-handed but not insurmountable. Looks brilliant and saves having to empty the panniers to get at your essential tools. Won't get caught out again without air pump, repair kit, multi-tool, tape, Ty-wraps etc. Don't know why they haven't used steel cable retainer as per BMW cases but very minor point.

I bought this mainly based on price although I think it looks better on the bike than the other brands. I was pleased at the amount it holds - Airman pump, puncture outfit, disc lock, helmet lock and a bundle of cables for various devices carried/used on my bike. All this and still room for a few other small tools when I find them. A GOOD BUY (especially at £102 direct from Touratech)

This is the usual high Touratech standard, and easy if a bit fiddly to fit. Looks great on the bike with or without the panniers. I was amazed by just how much I could fit in with my airman pump, tubeless repair kit, Torx set, Allen key set, adjustable spanner, screwdrivers and mini socket set fitting in with ease and still leaving room for some Rok Straps.

I am pleased with the Touratech tool box. It suits the lines of the bike and balances the silencer on the other side. I made my own mountings from 25mm × 3mm stainless strips filed and cut to shape. Looks good.

Purchased the tool box but wanted it to fit the GIVI pannier rack.
After a bit of fiddling and a few extra holes it fits great.
I needed to modify the existing brackets and secure it with a couple of extra pipe clips but all in all works well.
The box it self is well made, secure and waterproof.

Box arrived as expected and has been fitted, fitting is fiddly...but it fits well enough and the opening seems a bit bigger than the one on my last toolbox. It's solid enough when mounted. The advert says that my pump wouldn't fit, so I wasn't disappointed when it wouldn't..... Good honest product info on the website :).

I have replaced my Cymark box with this Touratech one. It was easier to install (although the end/inner bolts required the help of small hands - mine are too big!), fits well, solidly, and looks good. Cymark has more interior space, and the side door is easier to use than this rear access one, however it is not waterproof which makes it next to useless. Overall this is a better product and is just big enough (hence 4 not 5 stars, it could be a bit bigger) for tool and tyre kits. Door can easily be opened with a standard sized number plate fitted. Service from NN as always was impeccable!

Instructions cover different models. Whilst it fits on the left, the box is made to fit both sides (so you have to blank off the holes on the right hand side of the box, ans fittings are provided.
Slightly fiddly to fit with one pair of hands and a standard UK number plate will make loading awkard. But once 'full' you won't have to open it that often,, hopefully!

Nice box very well made and fits perfect on the bike. I bought the slime air pump the oxford tool kit and the givvi tubeless tyre repair kit along with this box and they have all fitted in it together but like it says in the description the slime air pump only fits in out of the case it comes in which isn't a problem. This now gives me piece of mind when I am out on my bike I should have done it a long time ago. I would recommend this box and the other items that I bought to go in it to anyone it is all well made and neat I just hope I never have to use them.

Brilliant bit of kit at an excellent price. I have been debating getting one of these boxes for a while but didn't like the design of the other two types available. This one looks good and with free postage is cheaper than if it was bought from Touratech direct.
Easy to fit even with sausage fingers like mine. Don't lose site of the fact that this is a small box and is only suitable for carrying a first aid kit and other such items. Brilliant service as we always expect from Nippy Normans which is my first point of call when looking for new kit.

Easy to fit although you will need some thread lock for the cover bolts. I have put a puncture repair kit and compressor together with some essential tools for longer journies or take the paniers off and empty the tools and there is still plenty of space when you just want to go out for the day, this is good as you ditch weight and bulk of empty paniers allowing you to crack on. Nicely made, you can't really see it when the paniers are on and so far has been totally waterproof. Only negatives are the retaining strap for the door is a bit Heath Robinson and you end up with an extra key. Minor niggles though and I am totally happy with my purchase. Recommended.

I purchased a GSA left hand pannier frame to allow me to install the toolbox on my Gs, it works great, I was told I would need both frames including the lower brace to otherwise, one frame on its own with a tool box fixed to it would simply flop about, that is not the case, as the frame is securely fixed in three places, I now carry a Cruse toolkit, Compressor, puncture repair kit, along with a few other essentials, hope this information helps.

Rugged, solid quality. Easy to fit with substantial pipe clips onto pannier frame. Waterproof as well with good access. No sharp edges.
I bought it to replace the Cymarc toolbox that has no barrier to water entry and, although well made, is a pig to fit even for an experienced bike fiddler.
