I`m really pleased with the Wunderlich heated seat for my 1250GS. I opted for the low height version and although it doesn`t seem that much lower than the original seat, I do feel that my feet are better planted when stopping and maneuvering the bike. When first fitted the seat did seem a lot firmer than the original but is definitely now bedding in after around 500 miles. The design of the seat is much more supportive than the original and I am riding with a much better and more upright posture. You feel much more like you are sitting in the bike rather than on it as was the case with the original seat. The connection of the wiring for the heated seat was a little fiddly and the instructions that came with the seat were not that detailed. The wires that connected to the operating button were left exposed so I used an old bicycle inner tube to create a water tight sheave to protect the connections. The heated seat takes a while to get up to temperature but it does it really makes for a comfortable riding experience in colder weathers. Also, when the heated seat is turned on and up to temperature the seat becomes much softer and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this seat as a worthwhile improvement to the original and along with the matching Wunderlich rear seat, it really improves the overall appearance of the bike,
