Very good quality item did take a bit of sweat and time to fit but no great hardship alignment of the holes didn't appear bob on but that's the engineer in me. Would recommend the product however as it is still much cheaper and easier than replacing the cylinder head covers.

These are not the cheapest on the market, but they are very unobtrusive (unlike some), much more heavily built that you'd think, and fitted really easily with no need for "adjustments" or accounting for "interference fit". Definitely worth the slightly higher spend

Very brief and scarce instructions led to a somewhat lengthy and uncoordinated fixing of the left side. Once done and lessons learned, right side went on easily. Substantial bit of kit but subtle and unobtrusive at the same time. My bike has the two bits of fairing under the front of the engine, these bars fit neatly behind them. Very pleased with them.

Discreet protection bars that look strong and sturdy you hardly notice them as they don't stick out.Good fitting instructions. Very good service from Nippy Norman's as usual.

Good quality engine bars. Nice and compact as they don't sit out too far from the engine. I found it easier to fit the small support screws loosely to the cylinder heads first, and fully tighten them last.

The bars look really great and fit the style and look of the R1200RS fantastically ... much better than the more cumbersome and chunky sets that BM or others might offer. Just check first if you wish to also fit BMW spot lights (as fitting both at once saves time and effort)

These engine bars are substantial, yet very discreet - on a causal glance they go unnoticed. They are very easy to fit taking about 30 minutes. I’m hoping that I won’t find out how well they work, however, they seem rigid enough to protect the pots should you be unfortunate enough to drop the bike.

I’m not a lover of engine bars but thought of dropping bike and cylinder heads taking brunt decided it for me - these do the job nicely and are an easy fit. The vibration absorber pads - don’t forget to fit first ! - and easier to use the Bmw screws for fitting them - the rest 30 min job max.

I was skeptical that the attachment system and the bars themselves would withstand more than minimal impact so I emailed Wunderlich in Germany, who assured they have stood up well in practice. On that basis I feel they are a nice compromise between protection level and aesthetics. They were VERY easy and quick to fit, which is always a plus. I like em.
