Wunderlich engine protection cover set for clutch and alternator S1000R (2021 on), S1000RR (2019 on), S1000XR (2020 on), M1000R/1000RR

This set consists of two resistant protectors that offer reliable protection for the critical points on the left and right of the engine: These are the exposed covers for the clutch and alternator. The two original engine covers, which are quite complex in design, are at risk in the event of an unfortunate tipping over or a fall. Damage is annoying, but breaking or grinding through can possibly prevent you from continuing your journey and even cause major damage to the high-performance engine of your BMW. The engine protection covers made of precisely fitting, impact-resistant, light special plastic are additionally reinforced with a constructively integrated, deep-drawn stainless steel insert to protect your BMW.

The Wunderlich developers designed the complete protectors in such a way that mechanical loads, force and torque peaks are distributed and reduced evenly over the entire component structure. The elastomer moulded elements made of a high-temperature-resistant material attached to the inside provide additional damping. They have an equally supportive and protective effect and are designed to be shock-absorbing with regard to their Shore hardness*).

The high-quality design and function of the cover are rounded off by an integrated, deep-drawn stainless steel insert. If the worst comes to the worst, it serves as a resistant wear protection to prevent the cover from being worn through and the mechanical damage or oil loss that is inevitably associated with it. In this way, the covers reduce the risk of expensive secondary damage. In many cases, they allow you to continue your journey unhindered after a mishap.
