Engine bars fitted well enough. Chrome looks a little thin around some of the welds. Only time will tell.

I bought a set of front bars (chrome) but on delivery the mounting plate area was rusty, as was the weld around it. The item was returned FOC and replaced within seven days, including a bank holiday. Great service and many thanks

Chrome bars looks and fit perfectly. I'm giving it 3 stars because the chrome has started to corrode. My bike has been stored in the garage all winter. I noticed rust spots on the engine bars. I installed them 4 months ago and I'm surprised that they corrode so quickly. NN SAYS Thats a first - please send images?

I considered rocker cover guards but thought that these offer much more protection albeit at a step higher in price. The chrome bars beautifully compliment the finish of my bike although it is too early to comment upon the longevity and quality of the chrome. Fitting was straightforward IF you watch the YouTube tutorial as the supplied instructions do not cover fairing removal which is necessary for fitting. All necessary parts are supplied including grease and loctite. I would suggest care to note the fairing fasteners when dismantling as these are different sizes. What was not clear from either the supplied instructions or the YouTube tutorial was how to fit the auxiliary lights to your new crash bars with the standard wiring. After some head scratching the solution is to unbolt and invert the auxiliary lights.

Was going to get the Touratech Stainless Steel but they were out of stock so I went for these. Although they appeared to be well made and fitted without any dramas, even coming with a tube of thread lock for the bolts, the first mild winter has revealed the poor quality of the chrome plating. The bike has done less than 3000 miles since they were fitted (95% on dry roads) and yet the bars are covered in surface rust. Although it cleans up with some chrome polish, it soon returns, completely ruining the look of an otherwise spotless bike. If you want the Wunderlich bars, and I have to admit they are probably the best styled ones for the RT, go for the painted ones. at least you can get them rubbed down and powder coated if they start to show signs of corrosion.

Item is well made and looks good on the bike. Instructions are OK, but doesn't tell you what panels need removing to help with installation. YouTube video from Wunderlich USA is very good and worth watching before you start fitting.
