I brought the back and front bars for my K 1600 they arrived a day or two after ordering them the packaging was very good. I fitted the bars myself the rear bars are very easy to fit the front left wasn’t too bad but the front right was a little more complicated. I found I couldn’t fit it without taking a couple of panels off which I was worried about but everything went well and it wasn’t too bad. Well worth the trouble and the money they look brilliant on cheers

I bought a package which contains both a engine guards and side-bag guards. I'm very happy and satisfied. Great buy. Thanks.

I had my dealer fit the bars and he said that the process was straightforward. The engine bars look inconspicuous and also provide a useful mounting point for my camera and tie down points for my forthcoming ferry crossing (both of which are lacking on the stock machine). Chose these bars in preference to BMW's own crash bars, which allow the bike to continue to roll in a stationary tip over, damaging fairing, badges, mirrors, brake and clutch levers, storage pocket, etc - ie you protect your engine but still have to pay £600+ to repair the plastic bits. May remove the pannier bars, once I am more used to the weight of the K1600 over my old 1200RT (and thus less likely to drop it...), as their big disadvantage is that they make riding without the panniers impractical.
