Having once before dropped this heavy bike I bought this Chrome Safety crash bar set. The quality is excellent. Chrome is lovely! and the protection it appears to give looks like a simple drop will same the bike where it should. I think the rear bars (pannier) are less likely to cope with much at any speed however but to be fair I expect that! So the negative (Only small) is the instructions are poor. Look at the video from wunderlich to help. I personally removed the bottom part of the fairing (And the OEM spots ) and this made the one bolt soooo much easier. I would recommend the bars and definately would say I got great speedy service from Nippy Normans

Took some time with the first Engine Bar to fit, then easier for other side! Have chromed bars and it looks good also with the rear panniers bars.

Great finishing touch to the bike providing some peace of mind that a drop will not cause too much damage. I hope I never have to find out. Rear bars very simple to fit, engine bars very fiddly getting to the front star bolts, and impossible to torque up. Highly recommend viewing the Wunderlich videos on YouTube before attempting to fit.
