Reviews of Wunderlich navigation security kit for Garmin Zumo XT and XT2

Wonderlich- Garmin XT2 lock mount Michael Whitaker on Sep 01, 2024

Well made soild bit of kit , it fully covers / locks over the push down clip for releasing the sat nav from the mount . It's a bit piece of mind if you leave sat nav on bike - where u can see the bike . I would still remove sat nav if you can't see the bike , not sure it's fully lock / safe proof , don't know if a good pull and twist of sat nav would release it , not keen on the rubber stopper that the locking arm covers , this would be better more solid as it's about 10mm thick , and if cut out - would arm life enough to release sat nav ????? Overall happy with it , best lock on market at the moment.

Needed to make sure my Garmin zumo xt was secure on the bike while stopping at a cafe or petrol station. This Wunderlich product is both well made and well designed. Easy to fit and does the job. Great service from Nippy Normans as usual. Roll on Europe

Simplicity is often the best and it is very straightforward to fit, well made and hides behind the sat nav nicely. I fitted mine to a high level bracket which sits behind the screen with no problems. The hinge section fits between the Garmin plate and the holding system plate, and the lock does not protrude above the device, so it looks neat and tidy and should fit most set ups. Takes all the pressure off parking up and forgetting to unclip your £400 unit!

A typical Wunderlich accessory - not cheap but well thought out and constructed. Easy to fit and use and unobtrusive on the bike. Worth the investment to solve the worry of some scrote pinching my satnav when the bike is briefly left unattended.
